WHAT'S NEXT?

College is a constant learning experience with obstacles seemingly everywhere one turns, things can be overwhelming. But each new learning experience has taught me that I am where I need to be.
My ultimate goal in earning my Bachelor's in History and Classics is to pursue graduate-level learning. Hopefully, I will eventually earn my PhD in Classical Studies. I have a long way to go before I get there. While I love learning new languages, especially those based on Latin, I am not ignorant of the fact that they take hard work and dedication. Because my degree plan is very intense, I will be required to learn Italian and German in my free time. Grad-school requirements call for reading proficiency in at least one modern language. In order to get there, I will study German over my breaks and wherever I can fit it in. Ideally, I will be able to gradually add Italian studies as I go. The path to my goal is a rough one, paved with academic intensity. But I look forward to the road ahead.
